Twinkies
Cake Mixes:
1 yellow, 1 lemon and 1 pineapple OR
1 yellow, 2 lemon
∙ Mix together, following directions for each mix.
∙ Bake in cupcake papers.
∙ Let cool COMPLETELY.
∙ Makes 102 Twinkies
Twinkie Filling:
10 T flour
10 T sugar
2 C milk
∙ In saucepan, mix well.
∙ Cook, stirring constantly till thick.
∙ Cool in refrigerator till COLD.
∙ Mix in 1 C soft margarine, ½ C shortening, 1 ½ C sugar and 2 t vanilla.
∙ Beat 5 minutes.
∙ Will be very thick.
∙ Poke hole in bottom of cupcakes.
∙ Insert pastry tip up into the middle and fill.
∙ Makes 102 Twinkies.
