Pumpkin Layer Dessert - Helen Arrington
1 package 2-layer yellow cake mix (reserve 1 C.)
½ C margarine
1 egg
∙ Combine and press into 9x13 pan.
Mix:
1 C pumpkin
2 eggs
⅔ C milk
¼ t cloves
½ t ginger
1 t cinnamon
∙ Beat till smooth and pour over cake mixture.
Mix:
1 C reserved cake mix
1 t cinnamon
¼ C sugar
¼ C margarine
∙ Sprinkle over pumpkin mixture.
∙ Bake at 350' for 50 minutes.
∙ Top with whipped cream.
