Pin Wheel Cookies

2 C flour
1 t baking powder
¼ t salt
½ C soft margarine
1 C brown sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
2 T cocoa

∙ Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and set aside.
∙ Cream margarine and sugar.
∙ Add egg and vanilla beating till light.
∙ Gradually add flour mixture, beating till blended.
∙ Divide dough in half.
∙ Add cocoa to one half of dough.
∙ Roll each piece of dough on lightly floured wax paper to form a 9x12" rectangle ⅛" thick.
∙ Place chocolate layer on top of butterscotch layer.
∙ Remove wax paper and roll up dough lengthwise to form a 12" roll.
∙ Wrap in wax paper and chill till firm.
∙ Slice cookies ⅛" thick.
∙ Bake on cookie sheet at 350' for 10-12 minutes.
∙ Makes about 6 dozen.
