Peppermint Toffy
1 ½ C sugar
½ C light corn syrup
¼ C water
2 T butter
⅛ t salt
½ t peppermint extract
∙ Combine ingredients except extract in saucepan.
∙ Cook to soft-crack.
∙ Pour into buttered pan, when cool enough to handle, pull.
∙ Cut into 1 " pieces.
