Peanut Butter Cookies - Helen Arrington

∙ Sift and set aside:
1 ¼ C flour
½ t baking powder
¾ t baking soda
¼ t salt
½ C dry milk

∙ Mix till light and fluffy:
½ C shortening
½ C peanut butter
½ C sugar
½ C brown sugar
1 egg

∙ Add half of flour mixture to creamed mixture and beat well.
∙ Blend in the rest of the flour mixture.
∙ Form into 1" balls and press with floured fork.
∙ Bake at 375' for 10 minutes.
∙ Makes 4 dozen.
