Old Fashioned Rock Candy
6 C sugar
3 C water
¾ t cream of tarter
∙ Cook all above without stirring to 290'.
∙ Substitute fruit juice for liquid, or add flavored extract and desired food coloring.
∙ Pour quickly into greased square pan.
∙ Chill till firm.
∙ Turn out of pan and crack into desired pieces.
∙ Makes about 2 lbs
