Oatmeal Lace Cookies - Carol White
1 C flour
½ t baking powder
1 C sugar
1 C oatmeal
¼ C heavy cream or evaporated milk
¼ C light corn syrup
½ C margarine, melted
2 T vanilla
½ C finely chopped pecans (opt)
∙ Sift flour and baking powder, then add sugar and oats.
∙ Add cream and all other ingredients.
∙ Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet (only ¼ t).
∙ Bake at 375' for 56 minutes.
∙ Remove from the oven and cool 23 minutes before sliding off cookie sheet.
∙ Makes 12 dozen.
