Lemon Sugar Cookies using cookie gum - Karen Briggs
1 C vegetable shortening
¾ C sugar
1 egg
2 T milk
1 t vanilla
½ t almond extract
2 ¼ C sifted flour
½ t baking powder
∙ Cream shortening and sugar till fluffy.
∙ Add egg, milk, vanilla and almond extract.
∙ Stir in dry ingredients.
∙ Refrigerate dough 1 hr.
∙ Fill cookie gun and drop on aluminum foil on cookie sheet.
∙ Bake at 400' for 7-8 minutes.
∙ Makes 6-7 dozen.
