Chocolate-Mint Brownies

½ C chopped nuts
1 t vanilla
6 oz pkg semisweet chocolate chips, melted
2 eggs
16 cream filled mints

∙ Heat oven to 350'.
∙ Grease 9-inch square pan.
∙ In large bowl, combine mix, nuts, vanilla, melted chocolate chips and eggs at low speed just until blended.
∙ Spread evenly in prepared pan.
∙ Bake at 350' for 20 to 25 minutes or until firm to touch.
∙ Immediately arrange mints on top; return to oven and bake an additional 5 minutes.
∙ Spread softened mints evenly over brownie surface.
∙ Cool: cut into bars.
∙ 24 bars.
