Brownies-on-the-March

⅓ C margarine
1 C sugar
1 T water
2 t vanilla
2 eggs
½ C flour
⅓ C cocoa
½ t salt
1 C nuts

∙ Cream margarine, sugar and water.
∙ Add vanilla and eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
∙ Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
∙ Stir in nuts.
∙ Pour into greased 9x9" pan.
∙ Bake at 350' for 25-30 minutes or till brownies begin to pull away from edge from pan.
∙ Cool in pan.
∙ Frost if desired.
∙ Makes 16 brownies.
