Banana Cream Pie - Carol White
1 ½ C milk
2 T cornstarch
2 T flour
⅓ C sugar
dash salt
2 eggs, yolks
½ t vanilla
2 bananas, sliced
∙ Mix cornstarch, flour and sugar with enough milk to make a paste.
∙ Stir constantly till thickened then add to scalded milk and cook 10 minutes.
∙ Add egg yolks and cook 23 minutes.
∙ Remove and add vanilla and cool.
∙ Slice bananas in precooked pie shell and cover with pudding.
∙ Chill
