Bacon and Bean Salad - Helen Arrington

lettuce, bite-sized pieces
1 can green beans, drained
chopped green onion or onion salt in dressing
fried bacon bits

βˆ™ Combine in salad bowl and add dressing (below) just before serving.

Dressing:

ΒΌ C vinegar
2 T or more bacon drippings
salt/pepper
1 T water (opt for weaker vinegar)

βˆ™ Heat dressing, pour HOT over salad.
βˆ™ Serve immediately.
